Parking Reminders!
Parking
Reminders: Absolutely NO Parking in the high school parking lot! No
parking on Anna Street or Lum Street (these streets are clearly marked with "No Parking" signs).
Plenty of parking at the Waterloo Elementary School Parking Lot, Karl Junginger Memorial Library Parking Lot, Henry Street and Porter Street.
There will be a "Drop Off Area Only" at the high school parking lot for those who want to drop off bikes, but you will not be able to park there. This is because part of the race course is on site and we need the parking lot clear in case of emergency vehicles needing to get in and out. Please be aware that we will be announcing the license plates of vehicles that do not heed our "no parking reminders" and will be asking you to move your vehicle.

Chip Timing Tutorial
Chip Timing is an important aspect of the race. It records your swim time, your bike time and your run time. It is a simple, comfortable strap-like device worn above your ankle. It is always worn on the left leg and chip timer should always face outward.
When registering for our event, you will receive a chip timer. Whatever your bib/race # is is also your chip timer #.
During a relay, the chip timer will be handed off from one person to the next (one leg to the next leg) and should be worn the same way for each person - left leg facing outward. It is also worn during the swim. Be sure to go over this with your relay partners before the race, to ensure there is no confusion when timing matters the most - on the race course!
